EXTRA CLEAN has been providing services since 1988. It has its own corporate location classroom where we provide safety, product, and equipment usage training. Our training instructional manuals are printed in both English and Spanish. We are totally dedicated to safety in the workplace.
We are members of the International Window Cleaners Association, Friends of IREM, CAI, PWNA, ABC, SIA, and the original Window Cleaner Certification Institute. All divisions follow our Hazardous Communication Program. This level of organized, dedicated employee training is atypical in the industry; therefore, our training program clearly benefits YOU and EXTRA CLEAN.
EXTRA CLEAN has the ability to provide both union and non-union labor. For our Window Cleaning Service Division, all personnel have attend the International Window Cleaner Certification Institute, which provides individual window cleaner safety job performance certification. We are charter members of this original Institute.
The selection and training of all our Managers and Supervisors are done methodically. All of these personnel are bi-lingual, and receive extensive training in addition to basic job and product usage training.
Other instruction includes customer retention; Manager one-on-one job performance reviews with Supervisors, and in turn, Supervisors with Crew Members. The constant high service level that we provide to our customers is in direct relation to the quality of our supervisory personnel, which is what makes us stand out from our would-be competition.
EXTRA CLEAN personnel are uniformed; with photo I.D., Managers and Supervisors carry digital “direct” voice communication as well as cellular telephones for instant communication, and alpha and numeric messaging for accurate data transmission.
We have the best safety record of any area high-rise window cleaning company. Unlike other local window cleaning companies, we do not subcontract or franchise any of our work, so our customers do not have any safety or liability concerns. We remain directly responsible for all government safety compliance requirements.
We are totally committed to adhering to the ANSI IWCA I-14.1-2001 Window Cleaning Safety Standard; ASME A120.1b-1999 Safety Requirements for Powered Platforms for Building Maintenance, as amended, and the applicable Parts of OSHA Regulations, including 1910.26, 1910.28, 1910.29, and 1910.66, including Appendix C, industry and EXTRA CLEAN safety standards.
EXTRA CLEAN is pleased to provide an embellishment of the “I-14″ at your office for a single or group of people. The more you know about safety issues, the better it is for us all. Note: we have published a booklet that recaps both the building owner and EXTRA CLEAN’s role in conforming to this Standard.
